ZMG Construction is the construction manager and general contractor at Encore, a 40+ acre mixed-use master planned development in downtown Tampa. Prior to commencing our horizontal site development, we organized and executed two job fairs in 2010. Our outreach efforts included local and regional newspaper advertisements and on-site signage, resulting in more than 5,000 candidates and extensive media coverage. Attendees were catalogued by employees at The Women's Centre in Tampa (Tampa's first jobs created by Encore), allowing us to follow up with 99% of them via phone message to explain next steps for job fulfillment.View full case study >
Abandoned by the developer at the end of the condo boom, this property became an eyesore, especially for individual owners who had already purchased units in the only finished building. Once a new owner was on board, preparing units for sale or lease was critical. By developing and adhering to a very aggressive completion schedule, ZMG was able to meet the owner's needs and transformed the property based on their budget and time requirements. Individual owners who had been locked into their purchases were offered a buy-out. The property is now an upscale apartment community.View full case study >
The existing multifamily apartment complex was extremely deteriorated and unoccupied for several years prior to our involvement. ZMG Construction worked with the owner to develop a scope of work, which included dramatically redesigned and reconfigured interiors and exteriors. Throughout the project's duration, we worked to overcome completion obstacles related to city ordinances that didn't allow for work on weekends. Once reconstruction was complete, ZMG coordinated with the owner's design team to reveal a fresh, new presence for the community.View full case study >
Once a luxury hotel that hosted society events and a visit during JFK's campaign, this building was converted to apartments around 1980. ZMG is currently performing restoration and reconstruction services to preserve the classic interior and exterior architectural features while improving accessibility for its elderly and disabled residents. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2011.View full case study >
